There are some websites you use frequently. Almost daily. This is how you create a desktop shortcut to a website, this will save you some time and prevent typos that might land you on a different page.
Note of caution, don’t get carried away creating these desktop shortcuts; otherwise your desktop screen will be a little bit busy.
Here is how to do it:
- Open your browser and go to the page you want the shortcut to.
- Resize your browser window so you can see both your computer’s desktop and the browser window.
- Left click down hold down the icon on the left of the web address (URL).
- While still holding the mouse button down, move your cursor to any empty space on your desktop and release. Voila! You created your shortcut.
