URL Desktop Shortcuts

There are some websites you use frequently. Almost daily. This is how you create a desktop shortcut to a website, this will save you some time and prevent typos that might land you on a different page.

Note of caution, don’t get carried away creating these desktop shortcuts; otherwise your desktop screen will be a little bit busy.

Here is how to do it:

1. Open your browser and go to the page you want the shortcut to.
2. Resize your browser window so you can see both your computer’s desktop and the browser window.
3. Left click down hold down the icon on the left of the web address (URL).
4. While still holding the mouse button down, move your cursor to any empty space on your desktop and release. Voila! You created your shortcut.
